Hi! My name is Cheryl Hatch!
If you are looking for activities for toddlers, plans and ideas with toddlers specifically in mind, you've come to the right place!
Toddler Plan It will provide just that:
Activities for toddlers and ideas you need to plan your lessons in one place so you don't have to spend hours searching! It's the reason for this website's tagline: Search It, Find It, Plan It!
Toddler Plan It will provide you with what many toddler teachers have asked for: One place to find what I need!
A little about me and my early childhood journey:
I have been in the early childhood field since the mid 1990's when I earned my undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education, Director II certification and have worn many hats including:
- Lead Teacher for community-based, private and for Christian programs.
- Director for Christian and private early childhood programs
- Superintendent and Sunday school teacher at my home church.
- Director of Christian Education (overseeing the church's Preschool Program, Sunday school program, Children's Church program, Mid-week Elementary Program and the Youth Group)
- Program Director for our Children's Worship/Children's Church Program
- Moppets Coordinator for the Local MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) program where we served both preschoolers and toddlers.
- Creator of Preschool Plan It (my sister site specifically for preschool teachers).
You may be as frustrated as I was with how many sites you need to visit to gather enough ideas for a full week of toddler planning-
and many of the activities are geared toward older children- preschoolers- not with toddler development in mind.
So, I hit the books, my own planning folders and did the research to create activities for toddlers that will help toddler teachers and I started typing them up to share with you.
The result is where you are now! Toddler Plan It!
